Bookings

Reservations may be placed through skylinetaxi.is or by emailing info@skylinetaxi.is. For group or private arrangements we work with one primary point of contact who provides the party’s payment and communication details.

Payment terms

Payments are completed through our secure card gateway or via an authenticated payment link issued by the sales team. Card details are processed externally; Skyline Taxi does not receive, handle, or store your card data.

Cancellation policy

Private airport transfers and day tours are refundable in full when cancelled at least 24 hours before departure. Cancellations must be submitted to info@skylinetaxi.is. Later cancellations are non-refundable.

Pricing & validity

Rates include VAT and applicable taxes. Quotes issued by our sales representatives remain valid for 14 days from the date sent. Prices are provided per vehicle or per tour configuration unless otherwise stated.

Liability & force majeure

Skyline Taxi may adjust routes, itineraries, or schedules when external conditions require it. Expenses arising from those adjustments (lodging, meals, transfers, and similar costs) are borne by the traveller. Strongly consider comprehensive travel insurance.

We are not liable for loss, damage, accident, illness, or delay caused by circumstances beyond our control.
We are not liable for the actions or omissions of travellers or unaffiliated third parties.
Force majeure events release Skyline Taxi from performance obligations.

Complaints & assistance

Report any issues during your trip immediately so that we can assist in real time. Formal complaints must be filed before you leave Iceland for us to review and resolve them.

Insurance expectations

Travellers are responsible for carrying insurance that covers all planned activities. Skyline Taxi is not responsible for costs incurred because suitable insurance was not arranged.

Credit card security

We reserve the right to cancel reservations if payment is declined or card information is inaccurate. Random fraud checks may be performed for cardholder protection.

Confidentiality

Confidential information shared with Skyline Taxi remains protected. We disclose such information only when required by law or to personnel and partners who need it to fulfil the service agreement.

Information collection

We collect the lead traveller’s name, phone number, email, local accommodation, and flight details. When necessary, we share this data with vetted partners involved in delivering your tour or transfer.

Governing law & data rights

These terms are governed by Icelandic law and disputes fall under Icelandic court jurisdiction. Questions about data processing may be escalated to the Icelandic Data Protection Authority if needed.
